Ephemera is run by Tara
Bliven -- that's me. I was first
charmed by letterpress
printing in college. There I
fell headfirst for the slow art
of printing by hand, the worn
edges of well-loved wood type,
and the quiet pleasure of a
stack of freshly printed cards.
All of our stationery is printed
in my home studio on either
a hand-cranked Vandercook
(circa 1966), or pedal-operated
Chandler & Price (circa 1912).
